It’s traditional to do a highlight reel of the year before… so here is the progress that CTC Vacations made in 2008.
We started 2008 with vacation certificates… unlimited vacation certificates included in the $477 and $977 packages. It was a great deal and one that wasn’t matched by any other business at the time. We had “Meet the Crew” calls every week and some marketing system help.
So much has happened since that point I won’t even attempt to do a chronological review. Instead, let’s take a look at what has been added - for the record, members at the beginning of the year were given most of these additions at no additional cost and members at the top level continue to be at the top level as its value increases. This is probably why this is the most popular membership in CTC!
So, what has CTC Vacations added?
o New marketing systems have been made available to the members, including a service that will follow up with your prospects for you. As you would expect these systems are add-ons. However, the prices are very reasonable. In fact, they are far more reasonable than for any of the other businesses I have been involved with!
o CTC formed a partnership with Hemisphere Travel - a 25 year veteran in the travel industry. This alliance ensured that the products offered by CTC are top-notch and are being managed and distributed by an experienced and credentialed provider. With this partnership, CTC truly became a worldwide provider.
o CTC introduced a retail product … 3 different Concierge Cards (hotel, cruise, condo) - each offering unprecedented deals. These include cruises on all 48 cruise lines worldwide, guaranteed lowest price on hotels for 2-4 night stays worldwide, and 7-day vacations at condos usually only offered to timeshare owners (through all nine timeshare coops). All CTC packages now include Concierge Cards plus the ability to sell them retail for an extra income stream.
o CTC introduced a Proprietary Travel Center. Now, all members have their own Travel Center for personal use. Anyone can also get a branded Travel Center for themselves or sell one to businesses, charitable associations or any other entity. By having a branded Travel Center (from which Concierge Cards can be sold retail), the member receives additional compensation for all of the travel booked through their center. This Travel Center has been proven to beat all the popular Travel sites (e.g. Travelocity, Expedia, etc) at least 90% of the time … for both availability and price.
o All of the vacation certificates that were offered initially are still a part of every membership package and some have been added.
o CTC introduced a new membership option aimed at businesses and individuals who have no interest in selling the business. This “Travel Incentives” business includes a Travel Center for personal use, unlimited access to all of the vacation certificates and the option of getting their own branded Travel Center. The benefits are two-fold. For the individual or business who fits into this category, they can get all the benefits of CTC without wading through the “biz stuff”. And, for the CTC Business Owner, there are multiple new markets to offer CTC Vacations to… without even mentioning the business. This is huge!
o CTC has always included a monthly fee. However, at the end of 2008, new members (and old members who wish to purchase this option) have a choice… they can pay a one-time fee of $499 (no monthly fees for life) or continue to have monthly fees.
o CTC has added an industry leading Business Center with more training and tools than any other business available. Also included in the Biz Center is a members forum, an automated support ticket system and additional products and services for marketing the business. All of the webinars and training calls are available in the Business Center. Members have access to the company and to other members via the support system and the forum.
o At the end of 2008, CTC dropped the price of the Voyager package to $977, a savings of $500. I don’t know for sure how long this will remain but it is possible that it will be kept permanently!
Any way you look at it, CTC Vacations has had a phenomenal year! The goal of CTC is to provide the best products and the best support for all of its members who wish to participate. CTC Vacations has achieved this goal in 2008 many times over and plans are in place to keep moving ahead in 2009 - with this track record, there is no doubt that 2009 will be even better than 2008!

Some of these properties just can’t be booked unless you are a timeshare owner at that property or within the exchange for that timeshare. “Hands-off” Marketing with CTC Vacations (Cruise to Cash)
CTC Vacations has recently introduced two new marketing systems. This company never rests! They continue to add features and systems that make every membership more valuable. There are always new things in the works at CTC Vacations!
For the person who wants to earn extra money from home but either doesn’t have the time, ability or desire to market and follow-up with prospects, CTC Vacations has introduced the answer - true “Hands-off” Marketing. I hesitate to use the label “Automatic Marketing System” because it is so overworked and often isn’t really true. In this case it actually is.
With the “Hands-off” Marketing option, literally anyone can be successful in recruiting new members to CTC Vacations. The bottom line is that no matter how terrific the marketing system is, someone has to drive people to it. And, I’ve said this time and time again, it’s at this point where most people fail in getting their business off the ground. They become discouraged and many never try again.
With our “Hands-off” system of recruiting new members the leads are collected for the member through proprietary capture pages, TV ads, classifieds, etc. Northstar (provider of this system) then follows up with them via email and phone - personally and through autoresponders. It’s a very powerful option. I have been using Northstar Tour Guides for a couple months now and they are professional and successful. This new system just makes it even better.
There are very few people who really enjoy prospecting and/or have a knack for it. In my opinion, for those who don’t have the skill, it is a great option to be able to outsource this part. Save your time to follow up with members once they join. Of course, as we have discussed before in “CTC Vacations Business Center” on this blog, most of what any new member needs to get started is provided, including how-to’s and live training.
Now the “Just Get Three” approach is actually reachable for any member who makes the effort… perhaps not at 100% of the projection but at a lesser percentage. Hey, a smaller percentage is still far more than 95% of home business owners ever make - probably in a lifetime! This best part of this is that the results CAN be duplicated.
